Installation and Configuration

• One minute installation with easy to follow instructions by running install.cgi

Database fields

• It is your program so we feel the need to have your own database. You can design what information to collect from your members.
• You decide what the names of your database fields are.
• You decide what fields are required which means members must enter input into these fields before the application is completed.
• You decide what fields carry what kind of data: numbers, characters, alpha-characters, or anything.
• If members miss out something, you decide what message/explaination to give to them to clarify.
• We provide 21 general database fields with 5 additional plain fields.

Program management

• We understand how difficult it is to manage a site all by yourself, so we design a way so that you can have others to help you
• Admin access is defined by what we called "administrative group". Each group carries a predefined set of access privileges (15).
• You can add what we called administrators to the administrative group you want. This administrators can do whatever permissions are set in that group.
• You can define as many administrative groups as you like
• You can add as many administrators in as you like.
• Administrators can be changed from one group to another
• Admin area is secured. No one can temper your program without valid username/password. In another word, only administrators can login to the admin area.
• Your session file is retained by cookies so you don't have to log into the admin area every time, unless you logged out first. (but for security purposes, we delete cookies that are 2 hours old).

Program Security

• You can set reserved names which no one can register.
• You can ban a set of IP addresses from registering.

• You can restrict who can call your scripts. Invalid referers are not honored if you do not want to.

Program Utilities

• Restore from backup facility
• Export facility your databases and save them on your computer, or to use with other software. The best thing is that you can determine what to export and how to arrange the data to use with other software
• Import facility where member databases from other software can be imported to use with mojoProtector. Do not worry about how their databases looks like, you just tell us how the databases lay and we will figure the rest.
• Repair facility. If your .htaccess file is damaged, you can rebuild it easily.
• If you have cron jobs , best to run once a day.

• We do not hardcode any template. Every HTML pages are exported into customizable files that you can easily edit
• Emails are not hardcoded either. You can write the messages you want with some of our mojoTags
