What are the requirements for mojoProtector?
mojoProtector requires that you have Perl 5 installed and that you have the CGI.pm module. Your systen must be capable of supporting .htaccess. You will also need FTP access to your web site and a little Perl/CGI knowledge will help. If you want to use Paypal, please make sure you have LWP and Crypt::SSLeay modules installed.

What operating systems will mojoProtector run on?
mojoProtector is known to run on all *nix system that support .htaccess. Windows version comming soon.

How secure is mojoProtector?
mojoProtector uses a system called .htaccess. This is a basic authetication password protection system designed for apache servers. .htaccess stores all passwords in an encrypted format which only the server can understand. Their are no known ways to de-encrypt the passwords so it is very secure.

Can I password protect multiple directories with mojoProtector?
Yes, mojoProtector can protect as many directories as you want with one set of members. This means your members register and will gain access to every listed directories.

I use another password protection program, can I convert to mojoProtector?
Yes! mojoProtector was designed to be universal. You can convert any program database to be used with mojoProtector. Just go to the admin area, click on the import and arrange the database fields. You must know the database format of the program you want to imported.

Can users login with an HTML form rather than the pop-up window?
Yes! The member_login.html template is used to validate the users and log them to the protected directory without the need for the pop-up window. However, if the user selects the "edit information" then it will take them to the personal control panel. In the control panel, there is also a link to the protected directory without having to login with the pop-up window.

Can I add custom fields to the signup form?
Yes, mojoProtector allows you to add up to 5 optional fields other than the standard which are username, password, email address, first name, and last name, etc. You can add them in and set them to be required or not via the admin area.

Can you install mojoProtector for me?
