Account Manager

In the account manager section, you will create and edit existing user accounts, set trial and/or regular billing cycles and subscription terms. You can use a normal account membership system or you can turn on ad credit system if you just would like to bill your clients for each ad, multimedia allowances or specific account permission they purchase (read more on the ad credit system below in this section).
Further in the account manager area, you'll setup payment gateways and individual account permissions for each membership account you create. (view "payment modules" section for instructions on how to setup payment gateways).

If you access the account manager section you will see a list of accounts that are currently in your system. By default, the system comes with
  1. Guest Account, this account and its permission settings is assigned to all visitors and non-registered users of your website.
  2. Member Account, this account and its permission settings is assigned to all users after registration.
Optionally, you can make a different account you created to be your default account by clicking the "make default" link. If any member account expires, the member will always be downgraded to the default member account so that he/she still can use the system but with minimum permissions.

Clicking on the "permission" settings link will let you set and edit individual account permissions and allowances for each account. Checking a box will allow the member of this account to do a specific action, un-checking will disallow the member to do that action.

Clicking on "preferences" settings link will let you set default user preferences for this account. Upon registration, these preferences are assigned to each user, the user can change preferences in their user panel at any time later.

Click on "Add new account" to setup a new membership account.
Account ID This is the unique ID of the account, used for internal purposes, can't be changed later.
Account Name This is the name of the account. The account name will be displayed on the registration page and in the member control panel as status display.
Account Description This is an additional description for that account so you easily identify that account if you have setup numerous different accounts.
TRIAL PERIOD - Amount you charge subscriber now If you want to offer a trial period for this account you can setup the trial amount here ("5.50" will be 5 Dollars 50 Cents for example). The trial amount will be billed initially.
TRIAL PERIOD - This trial period should last Select the validity period of the trial, once this period is over the account will either expire OR immediately proceed to bill the regular charge as setup in the billing cycle.
REGULAR BILLING - Subscription price Enter the amount of the charge in this field.
REGULAR BILLING - Length of each billing cycle Select the length of each billing cycle here.
REGULAR BILLING - Allowed number of recurring payments Select the number of recurring payments, the member account will expire on the last day of the last term as selected in this field. If you wish to bill the user only one time but want to have the user keep this account forever, select "1" in this field and "unlimited" in the length-field above.
Featured Ad Price A featured ad will be displayed randomly on any page such as the homepage similary to the "most recent ads" listings. Enter a value here, such as "2", if you would like to charge 1 US$ for example for a featured ad. Refer to the "Featured Ads" section for more info on featured ads.
Sponsored Ad Price A sponsored ad will be displayed in the chosen category before regular ads. Enter a value here, such as "1", if you would like to charge 1 US$ for example for a sponsored ad. Refer to the "Featured Ads" section for more info on sponsored ads.
Custom Ad Template Price: Define unlimited amounts of custom ad templates for example one with a bold title, one with bold title and background graphic, and one with a specific image you want to show etc. Enter here the amount you would like to charge the user if he want to make his ad better visible to the reader. Enter a value here, such as "0.50", if you would like to charge 50 cents for example for a sponsored ad. Refer to the "Featured Ads" section for more info on custom visibility ads.
New Member activation Select how you want to handle new user applications.
"sendmail" will send an email to the users email address with a link for user confirmation.
"instant" will immediately activate the user and
"pending" will put the member application on a pending list for you to review.
Admin Email notification Enter an email here if you would like to be notified of new member applications
Hide from public view? Check this box only if you would like to exclude this account from public registration. You can reserve this account and its settings for example for discounts, partners or special agreements you make with users. If an account is hidden, you can manually assign this account to a member from the admin area.
Instant credit processing If you have payment modules loaded, you can select here which payment option you want to offer for this account, the user will be forwarded right to the payment processor to proceed through secure payment after he/she registered for the program. If you have several payment modules loaded and would like to leave a choice for the user which one he/she chooses for payment, you can leave the selection blank, in this case the user will be presented with an upgrade screen (upgrade.html template) after the registration to the program.
Ad Credit System

In MojoClassifieds, you have the ability to use the normal membership system and an ad credit system which enables your members to purchase the same account over and over again, ACCUMULATING account permissions such as ads, number of images and media space to their existing allocations. This is called "credit system" because the more accounts they order, the more permission credits will be allocated to them.

For example: You create a member account with 1 ad allowance in account permissions. Your members order or upgrade to this account to post 1 ad. Whenever they would like to post another ad, they can order the same account again. If you create accounts with 1 ad, 3 ads and 5 ad allowances, your current member has an account with 3 ad allowances, and used 2 already but decides to get more ads at a lower discount rate which would be possible with the 5 ad allowance account, he just upgrades/orders the 5 ads account and he'll be able to post 8 ads now, 3 from the previous and 5 new since he posted 2 already, he has still 6 ad credits left.
This way it works with all permissions available in the permissions section, such as number of images or media gallery size.

The "Ad Credit System" can be turned on and off in the admin area, behaviours section.
