Common Tags and Descriptions

The chart below is a reference of common MojoAuto parsed tags called MojoTags. You can use all member and ad field tags on all ad preview, full ad, registration and ad posting templates. You can place them anywhere you like according to your needs on these templates.
Please make sure when adding and removing tags you read and understand how MojoAuto deals with tags and templates.

Please note that you can change field attributes of member and ad database fields according to your needs, this means you can change, as an example, "phone" field to "pager" and collect the users pager information instead of the phone number. However, the field tag WILL REMAIN [PHONE] and [IP_PHONE] on templates, even though you change field attributes. It is recommended to use first all custom fields if you need new fields before you change attributes of existing database fields.

Tag Name Tag Meaning
[PROGRAM_URL] The link to mojoAuto.cgi
[NEW_URL] The link to the new ads section (sorted by newest link on top).
[POPULAR_URL] The link to the popular ads (sorted by most popular on top).
[SEARCH_URL] The link to search_options.html page.
[AD_URL] The link to the member ads section.
[MAIL_URL] The link to the member mail section.
[GALLERY_URL] The link to the member gallery section.
[MEMBER_URL] The link to the member profile and update section.
 

Member Tags
Tag Name Tag Meaning
[DATE_EXPIRED] Date membership will expire
[DATE_REGISTERED] Date member registered.
[DATE_UPDATED] Date member last updated profile.
[USERNAME] Unique username.
[PASSWORD] Member's password.
[EMAIL] Member's email address.
[FNAME] Member's first name.
[LNAME] Member's last name.
[ADDRESS] Member's address
[ADDRESS2] Member's address, continued.
[CITY] Member's city.
[STATE] Member's state.
[PROVINCE] Member's province (if not USA).
[COUNTRY] Member's country.
[ZIP] Member's zip code.
[PHONE] Member's phone number.
[FAX] Member's FAX.
[WEBSITE] Member's homepage (can be used for anything).
[AIM] Member's AOL AIM screen name.
[YIM] Member's Yahoo Instant Messenger ID.
[ICQ] Member's ICQ number.
[MSN] Member's MSN Messenger ID
[SEX] Member's gender.
[AGE] Member's gender.
[CUSTOM1] Anything you want, custom field.
[CUSTOM2] Anything you want, custom field.
[CUSTOM3] Anything you want, custom field.
[CUSTOM4] Anything you want, custom field.
[CUSTOM5] Anything you want, custom field.
[CUSTOM6] Anything you want, custom field.
[CUSTOM7] Anything you want, custom field.

[PINCODE] Paid code (from ibill, clickbank or paypal).
[GATEWAY] Gateway member used to pay.
[STATUS] Indicates the member status: active, pending, expired or suspended.
[SUBSCRIPTION_ID] Subscription ID from iBill for recurring charges.
[TRANSACTION_ID] Unique transaction ID from gateway.
 

Ads Tags - Internally used tags
Tag Name Tag Meaning
[DATE_POSTED] The date the ad was posted.
[DATE_EXPIRED] The date the ad will be expired.
[IMAGE_URL] The link to the big image.
[THUMBNAIL] The thumbnail image (not a link, but an image).
[USERNAME] The username that posted this ad.
[CAT] The category this ad belongs to.
[ADID] The ad ID (unique).

[CITY] Ad City.
[STATE] Ad state.
[PROVINCE] Ad Province (if not USA).
[COUNTRY] Ad country.
[ZIP] Ad zip.
[GENDER] Ad gender.

[PERSON_TYPE] Type of seller.
[DEALER] Dealer Name.
[MAKE] Automobile Make.
[MODEL] Automobile Model.
[YEAR_MADE] Year of creation.
[REQUESTED_PRICE] Automobile Price.
[MSRP] MSRP.
[MILES] Miles used.
[CAR_LOCATION] Location of Car.
[TRIM] Trim.
[BODY] Automobile Body.
[TRANSMISSION] Transmission.
[ENGINE_TYPE] Engine Type.
[EXT_COLOR] Exterior Color.
[INT_COLOR] Interior Color.
[DRIVE_SYSTEM] Drive System.
[STEREO] Stereo.
[CONDITION] Automobile Condition.

Ads Tags - Statistics
Tag Name Tag Meaning
[VIEW] The number of times the ad has been viewed.
[REPLY] The number of times the ad has been replied.
[SAVE] The number of times the ad has been saved to hotlists.
[TOTAL_MEMBERS] This is the number of total members registered in the system.
[TOTAL_ADS] This is the number of total ads posted in the system.
[TOTAL_CATS] This is the number of total categories in the system.
 

Email Tags
Tag Name Tag Meaning
[MYNAME] The admin name (set in configurations).
[MYEMAIL] The admin email (set in configurations).
[MEMBER_URL] The URL to mojoAuto.cgi.
[SITE_TITLE] Your site title (set in configurations).
[VALIDATE_URL] If you do not have a paysite, and you have set "new member activation" method to "sendmail", then this is the URL that your member has to click to be validated.

[MESSAGE] Error or informational message, if any.
